Dr. Giugi Carminati, Esq., LLM, JSD, CIPP/E

Dr. Giugi Carminati is a multidisciplinary professional whose expertise spans law, cybersecurity, compliance, and evolutionary biology. A certified Legal Project Manager and seasoned attorney, Giugi integrates her diverse academic and professional background to help organizations navigate complex challenges at the intersection of law, technology, and science.
Giugi holds an LL.M. in Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications Law from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, specializing in emerging legal and governance challenges in digital and space technologies. She is also HIPAA and CITI trained and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/EU), equipping her to handle sensitive data, ensure regulatory compliance, and design actionable privacy strategies for organizations.
In addition to her legal and compliance work, Giugi has a strong foundation in the sciences, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Evolutionary Biology, focusing on Conservation Genetics, where she applies advanced biostatistics and computational methods to explore critical questions in hybridization and species definition. Her dual expertise allows her to bridge the gap between science and policy, making her uniquely equipped to address challenges in conservation and regulatory compliance.
Giugi has also contributed to education, assisting in teaching R coding and genetics at the undergraduate level. Her experience in biostatistics and data analysis enhances her ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for diverse audiences, whether in the classroom or the corporate boardroom.
Fluent in French, English, Italian, and Spanish, Giugi’s multicultural and multidisciplinary expertise makes her an effective communicator and collaborator across global teams. Shawn McGraw, M.S., (Ret.) U.S. Navy
Cybersecurity Strategist | Cryptologic Operations Expert | Technical Director | Industrial Systems Specialist
Shawn McGraw brings extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the field of cybersecurity. After serving 24 years in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician, Shawn honed his expertise aboard the USS Anzio, USS Bulkeley, and Fleet Cyber Command, where he played a pivotal role in safeguarding national security.
Following his distinguished military career, Shawn transitioned to the civilian sector, taking on key roles that expanded his impact. He served as a Senior Exploitation Analyst for the National Security Agency (NSA), ensuring the highest levels of national security, and later became the New Jersey online gaming regulator for the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Shawn’s passion for cybersecurity and protecting critical systems led him to serve as the Technical Director for the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC), where he worked to secure critical infrastructure across the state. He also brought his expertise to Siemens as an Operational Technology Security Consultant, specializing in safeguarding industrial systems.
Shawn earned his Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland, complementing his extensive technical and operational experience. He is driven by a commitment to protecting systems, enabling innovation, and mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Sam Jarocki, Ph.D.
Seasoned Cybersecurity Expert | Offensive and Defensive Operations Specialist
Dr. Sam Jarocki brings over two decades of expertise in cybersecurity, with a distinguished background in both offensive and defensive operations. His journey began as a Navy nuclear-trained submariner, where he honed the technical rigor, precision, and discipline that now define his approach to securing systems and networks.
Building on his military foundation, Sam pursued advanced education, earning a Ph.D. in Cyber Operations, an M.S. in Network Security, and a B.S. in Computer Science. This robust academic and technical background has enabled him to excel in leadership roles across government, private, and public sector organizations.
Throughout his career, Sam has led high-stakes initiatives, including spearheading red team operations, managing security operations centers, and overseeing advanced security testing programs. His areas of expertise include penetration testing, threat emulation, incident response, vulnerability management, and the development of custom tools and methodologies.
Dr. Jarocki’s unique blend of hands-on technical skills and strategic vision empowers our company to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
